From their website, "As the city looks east for the new and the next, it finds Drift Nashville, where a young Baja-California-coastal living mindset and a local ethos are set amid extensive urban development and the new football stadium. Built in 1966, the hotel preserves the integrity of Nashville’s storied midcentury architecture but brings new life and meaning to the developing East Bank area with striking minimalist-modern design. Here, old and new are repurposed to maximum affect forging a California-heritage coastal-living style with a Nashville ethos to create a Baja-minimalism vibe. A “hotspot” pool and our Penthouse with outdoor terrace with stunning city views make this the new place to be in Nashville."

**Please note, this hotel is for 21+ only.** "Located in the heart of East Nashville, Urban Cowboy’s eight uniquely designed suites are housed in a historic Victorian mansion dating back to the 1800’s. Eight guest rooms but two bars (because we’ve got our priorities straight). The main house is home to our Parlor Wine Bar, with nightly live music performances by some of Nashville’s best artists. The Public House is our bar ‘out back’ – housed in an old carriage house and equal parts local watering hole / cocktail lover’s paradise. Roberta’s pizza, famous from Brooklyn, serves up wood-fired pizza right in our own backyard. You’ll leave us full, buzzed, and inspired."

This hotel has a philanthropic mission. According to the website, "The mantra for The Gallatin Hotel is 'Stay Joyful,' and it’s nearly impossible to feel anything but when you walk in the door. Pops of color, photo booths, and eclectic rooms are all a part of that experience. Located in the former home of the East Side Church of Christ, The Gallatin is a contactless boutique hotel that is as funky as it is thoughtful. A colorful and youthful vibe draws stylish guests, and the rooms range from bunk beds for a group getaway to kings for couples. The hotel’s Room to Room program has been created to give the majority of proceeds to a local cause. To this day, the company has provided over 100,000 warm meals, beds, and showers to those facing homelessness in the community. Don’t expect a luxury spa or Michelin-star restaurant; instead, guests are treated to a local experience with lots of love. The property dates back to 1925 — creating a juxtaposition of the historic dwelling with Instagrammable aesthetics. Guests check-in via key code to both the lobby and guestrooms. Offerings include bright blue bunk rooms with images of Dolly Parton to pink and purple kings where Jimmy Hendricks hangs on the wall. You might find a shower with heart-shaped tiling or a funky blue minifridge. Fun surprises like this continue to delight throughout the stay. Those who stay here are often looking for a less-touristy side of Nashville, seeking out cool cocktail bars, fantastic dining, and vintage shopping in and around East Nashville. Those who appreciate funky and thoughtful design will love the property. And for travelers who want to give back, the Room to Room program offers support to those in need."
